The CCTC laboratory and serpentarium are not open to the general public for security and safety reasons. Site visits by specific stakeholders, collaborators and other organisations interested in our work can be arranged subject to approval and in special circumstances.
Please note that we do not accept offers of live venomous snakes from the general public, and we advise that no member of the public should ever attempt to catch or kill a venomous snake under any circumstances. Many snakebites occurs when people try to catch or kill a snake, so avoiding these activities, reduces your risk of snakebite injury.
